[In Order] Nimble Ike

Old Sleuth, aka Harlan Page Halsey, wrote many mystery novels, and one of his recurring characters was Nimble Ike. Ike is a 14-year-old boy taught by a master ventriloquist. When his teacher leaves him one day, Ike has to earn his own money and make his way in the world. He befriends a widow and her daughter and then solves a crime with the help of Detective Murray.
